Kindergarten/Second Grade-First Day!

Here they are!

Backpack shots! Notice that Harper's matches her outfit.  That was on purpose (her idea).

If you look VERY closely, you can see tiny girl climbing aboard with Garrett right behind her.  I barely got this shot as they both took off like rockets when the bus showed up.  No looking back. No tears. A very happy Harper wave that I saw through the window as the bus drove past.
After 5 years of anticipating this day, it was almost anti-climactic.  I don't know why I continue to be surprised when both my kids take life's changes in stride and flourish.  If only I could be a little more like them!
