John Warren (Jack) was welcomed into the Alexander clan this afternoon at 2:01. He weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz. Fourth child, third son, thoroughly loved little boy at only hours old.
Going to see brand new babies just never gets old. The utter surreal-ness that that same little baby we're all oohing and aahing over was just inside the mom's body hours earlier. A whole little person.
Amazing.
First baby or fourth baby, any time a baby enters this world safely and is welcomed with love is a huge cause for celebration. Childbirth is still the number one cause of death for women worldwide, so it is no small thing when mama and baby are doing just fine.
Thank you Lord.
Welcome Jack! We are so, so happy you are here. We may be loud, we may be crazy, but there is a lot of love in this family of friends you don't even know you have yet.
