Allison just went back to pre-op for the 2nd round of "ThyroidGate". Everything started off just fine this morning. No issues, so far (unless you count not being able to get a full bowl of Reese's Puffs for me as an issue - need to remember to get more at the grocery store).
At any rate, surgery is supposed to start at 11am. If you're reading this blog and praying for Allison, please take a minute to go to http://apinisfamily.blogspot.com/ and say some prayers for Samuel while you're at it.
I'll try to post updates every half hour or so, but I don't think they'll tell me anything for quite a while, so the postings may be my random musings about what it's like to be in a hospital waiting room...
