Candy is by to visit with Will and Lexi! Allison is awake (well..for the most part). Gail and Allison were able to sleep for about an hour while I diligently maintained notes for blog updates...
Voice is mostly hoarse and whispery, as expected. Mainly getting a lot of "thumbs up"...
Funny note - Allison has a "Yes" in marker on the right side, so the doctor make sure to remove the correct lobe. Glad to know there's a backup in case the doctor forgets what he's supposed to be removing.
Funny note #2 -People who cough after having thyroid surgery sound like people who have been smoking for 40 years.
Not so funny note - You people don't do a lot of commenting.

how awesome of a mother of twins to come by and visit. glad she didn't do something annoying like show up with two screaming kids so that Gail had to feed one of them, and then wake Allison up. that would be really LAME . . .
