So I went upstairs and demanded information regarding my (My demand included asking politely for an update and then discussing the cost of Allison's "cute" haircut with the nurses).
Surgery is ongoing, and will be another hour or hour and a half. The doctor is taking his time due to the scar tissue from the previous surgery. Everything is going well, and there haven't been any complications to this point. I'd rather him take additional time if necessary, so that's a good thing.
