Ok - Allison went into surgery around 9AM. It was about 45 minutes later than we expected, but started fine. Just received an update from the nurse that the 1st lobe has been removed, and it is being taken to the Pathologist to determine if the thyroid is cancerous. We should know in about 30 minutes if the 2nd lobe needs to be removed.
